Davao Takeaway Thoughts & Tips
Pasalubong:
Table of Expenses
- For shirts and local crafts, go to Aldevinco Shopping Center. Be warned that not all crafts are really “local” aka made in Davao/ the Philippines. I spotted the ethnic-y bags that I saw in Bangkok. The bags were sold for Php 150 (BHT 100 in Bangkok).

- For fruits, Magsaysay fruit stand is your bet. This is located near Sta. Ana Wharf. I rode a jeep from Aldevinco to Magsaysay Fruit Stand (I just asked the guard which jeep to ride).
- One kilo of Pomelo costs Php 60.
- One piece of Marang costs Php 40. Ask about their expiration dates.
- They can all put all these fruits in one box that you can check-in at the airport.

- I chose to spend my days at the beach instead of visiting the usual parks/farms. I didn't join any other group adventures because I was traveling solo.
- Davao people are friendly! They may not be able to answer all your questions, but they will refer you to another person who might.
- Learn how to use maps on your phone, or print one. It would be useful.
- Cab drivers gives the exact change.
